Phase 3 is all for CastleGate Design, mostly. Phase 3 is where CastleGateDesign adds all of the construction information needed to the plans. The final plans will include things like: Fully dimensioned floorplans, detailed elevations, door and window schedules, section cuts, suggested roof framing plan, suggested floor framing plans, suggested foundation plans and some additional details. For non-engineered plans, you can also expect the Brace Wall Panel Plan. For more complex roof systems 3D imagery may be available.
CastleGate Design will then send you a 'first draft' of the final Construction Documents (CDs). You'll have a chance to review these drawings (marked Not For Construction) and ask questions as needed. As part of the first draft of the CDs, we'll also include the conceptual site plan of your project. You'll have a chance to review that site plan and make minor changes as needed.
We'll then set up a meeting to review the 3D Model of your project at our office downtown Idaho Falls. You'll have a chance to review the 3D model and ask questions. We'll view the exterior, and walk through the interior and talk about more of the details.
Assuming all is well at that point and you give your approval of the final documents, CastleGate Design will then do one last quick review just to be sure we haven't missed anything and then we'll finish up the contract and the project will be complete!
CastleGate Design's final product includes the final Construction Documents in PDF format, a ZIP file of the DXF files of the drawings (for the engineer as needed), and we include the 3D Model file (in BIMx format) that you'll be able to download to your phone or tablet or computer.
